It has been 4 weeks since we brought Giddy home with us. We are still dealing with trust issues, but he has some a long way. He will now take a doggy cookie from Gary without having to be coxed to. He has gotten the hang of heading down our ramp ahead of me, instead of waiting for me go ahead of him. We walk early every morning and this is time that he will do his business. He always acts a little unusual after he has done this, like he is going to get into trouble for doing it. He is very hesitant about making eye contact, like he was brow beaten at some time in his life. All in all, we have seen lots of little steps to where we are seeing he is more comfortable in his surroundings. He is such a sweet boy and we feel very lucky this little man had come into our lives. We still have a long ways to go, but I think with time, we will eventually get there.
